Kittitas County Fire District #1 started on November 1943
- Our coverage area is 43.5 square miles.
- We have 2 stations--Thorp and Clark Flats.
- Currently we have 23 volunteers, (Included are 6 EMT's,
6 JR firefighters)
- Fire Apparatus: 3 tenders, 1 class (A) structure engine, 2 minipumpers, 1 H5S brush truck, 1 aid unit, 1 MCI response vehicle, 2 rescue units, 1 command support unit, 1 rehab bus, and one 36 year old pumper slated for replacement.
